About Me
Hi, I’m Pelar Fullilove, Founder and Principal Designer at 37th Burleigh Interior Design.
My design journey started in the heart of Milwaukee, WI, where at just six years old,
I got to paint my bedroom fuchsia pink. That early creative freedom sparked something in me,
a passion for shaping spaces that bring joy, function, and beauty into everyday life.
My formal training began with a degree in Fashion Marketing and Design from American Intercontinental University in Los Angeles. While fashion taught me the art of aesthetics, it was through real estate that I found my true passion—interior design. After years of helping clients create dream homes, I pursued a Master’s Certification in Interior Design from the Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland, Oregon. It’s where I refined my skills and confirmed that interior design was my true calling.
My career took a significant turn when I was given the opportunity to design a $5 million spec home. Handling everything from finishes to fixtures and staging, I discovered a knack for residential design that focuses on custom and spec homes. My style is all about bringing understated elegance to life, creating spaces that speak to my clients lifestyles while maintaining a timeless, polished aesthetic.
My approach to design is client focused. I believe that each home tells a story, and my job is to bring that story to life in a way that is both functional and beautiful. By getting to know my clients, their needs, their style, and their dreams, I create spaces that are a true reflection of who they are.
Outside of my career, I find inspiration in the world around me. As a certified scuba diver, free diver, and breath work coach, I find balance and creativity through nature, travel, and art. Being a mother to my teenage daughter, Leilani, who is an aspiring WNBA star, has taught me the importance of functional design, especially in active and family centered spaces.
Looking forward, I aim to continue expanding my design firm, building a talented team, and making a lasting impact in the design world. I’m passionate about sharing my work through speaking engagements, major design publications, and television. My goal is simple—to craft spaces that enrich lives and create lasting experiences.
